Jeremy Shoham
Jeremy Shoham qualified with an MSc in Nutrition in 1982 (LSHTM). Since then he has worked predominantly in the emergency nutrition sector. Up until 1996 he worked for a variety of humanitarian agencies mostly in east and southern Africa emergency contexts either implementing feeding programmes or acting as a consultant in reviews and evaluations. His areas of speciality include; selective feeding programmes, food and nutrition information systems and targeting. During this period he also ran the emergency nutrition module on the LSHTM Master in Nutrition course(1988-1994).
He was a founding member of NutritionWorks in 1999 and has remained a senior partner to this day. In 1996 he established the Emergency Nutrition Network in Trinity College Dublin and it’s flagship publication – Field Exchange. The ENN moved to the UK in 2004 and became a charity in the same year. Since then he has worked as co-Director of the ENN. He is responsible for the ENNs work on moderate malnutrition as well as technical editor of Field Exchange.
