Anne Bush

Anne BushAnne Bush has over 15 years experience working in the field of international public health nutrition in Kenya, Somalia, Tanzania, Ethiopia, the D.R. Congo and Indonesia. Anne has also six years of clinical experience as a state registered dietitian in the UK National Health Service. She holds a Masters in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine which compliments her BSc Degree in Dietetics. Anne has experience working in a variety of different organisational settings including Donors, Ministries of Health, UN agencies, INGOs and Academic Institutions.

She provides technical expertise in the areas of management of acute malnutrition, MCH, IYCF, HIV/AIDS nutrition and Monitoring & Evaluation. Notable examples of recent achievements include leading the development of the Inter-Agency Somali Nutrition Strategy and drafting operational guidance for country nutrition strategy development for UNICEF. She has been involved in humanitarian policy and reform work with DFID in Kenya and Somalia. She is lead author of the revised Global Nutrition Cluster Harmonised Training Package module on Monitoring & Evaluation. She is a native English speaker with basic French and Bahasa Indonesia. Anne has a special interest in operational research to improve the evidence base for use of different interventions.
