Kate Godden

Kate Godden is a humanitarian professional offering 20 years experience with NGO’s, UN and donors. She has an MSc from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and is a registered Public Health Nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition. Kate’s areas of specialism cover evaluation of programmes & policy, situation assessment of food security & nutrition, including surveys, training in nutrition in emergencies. She has field experience in more than 20 countries, principally sub-Saharan Africa and Asia and is a member of the capacity development working group of the UN global nutrition cluster.

Kate also teaches at the University of Westminster on an MSc International Public Health Nutrition and is involved in the current upsurge of interest in evaluation methods, including impact. Access to academia allows Kate to offer practical advice that is backed up by the current research evidence base.
