Since the last quarter of 2012 NutritionWorks has been working on a number of projects led by the DFID funded Maximising the Quality of Scaling up Nutrition Programmes Framework (MQSUN). MQSUN aims to provide DFID with technical services to improve the quality of nutrition- specific and nutrition sensitive programmes over a period of four years.

NW has worked on the review of 17 national nutrition policies selected as priority countries by DFID. This work was completed in April 2013. Since January of 2013 NW has been working on an MQSUN project supporting the SUN Movement Secretariat on examining and classifying national costed plans from more than 16 countries. This work has involved working closely with the SUN Secretariat in Geneva, undertaking field visits to Bangladesh, Kenya, Madagascar, Nepal and Sierra Leone as well as supporting analysis and presentation of the outputs within SUN-led meetings and teleconferences. This piece of work has been conducted in conjunction with Health Partners International, who is part of the core management team for the MQSUN consortium, led by PATH.

Lastly, work with MQSUN has just started in Pakistan with a NW consultant setting-up operational research to review cash programming impact on nutrition outcomes in that location.
