Guidance on Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergencies (IYCF-E)
2014 / DG ECHO, Groupe URD and NutritionWorks collaboration
NutritionWorks collaborated with Group URD (INSPIRE Consortium) and DG ECHO to produce IYCF-E guidance for programming. The work included developing guidance tools, preparation of dissemination tools and facilitation of an information and training session to ensure that the importance of IYCF-E and its impact on child mortality and morbidity is well understood by DG ECHO staff and partners. The materials will serve to support DG ECHO staff and partners to recommend and to implement appropriate responses including IYCF-E for different humanitarian contexts.
